quadro_bikeThe Jaguars destroyed their 2009 take the field just shy of that crucial.500 mark with a 7-9 record. Jacksonville 39;s umbrage wasn 39;t too important, superior 18th in the conference in sum up yards per game with 336.6. However, the Jaguars 39; defence came in five musca volitans lower in 2009 in the 23rd spot, gift up 352.3 yards per game. So, both the offence and defense needs comfortable work during the off temper. Knowing the key strengths and weekness of teams is very large to weekly fantasy football owners.
Key Draft Picks: With six add u picks in the NFL Draft, the Jags used four of those six picks on defensive attitude players. And with good reason out, too. With a refutation hierarchal No. 23 in the conference in add u yards allowed, hierarchal No. 27 in passing yards allowed with 235.9 yards per game, and hierarchical No. 19 in rush yards allowed with 116.4 yards, it 39;s no wonder Jacksonville used four of their six picks on defensive players, and most notably, four defensive attitude linemen.
The highest rated defensive linemen the Jags picked in 2010 is DE Tyson Alualu from California. Since the Jags listed DE Quentin Groves, they needed another DE to take his direct and work with other DE Aaron Kampman as a pass rusher on passage downs. Alualu had a right four-year career at California, where he had 187 tackles, 15 sacks, one unexpected grope, and one interception. The key add up here is Alualu 39;s number of tackles. He should definitely help the Jags 39; poor rushing rank in 2010.
The other notable defensive attitude standout is DT D 39;Anthony Smith out of Louisiana Tech. Smith had a career much like Alualu 39;s and his numbers were about the same with 196 tackles, 11 sacks, one unexpected fumble, and one interception during his four years at Louisiana Tech. He offers the Jags a solid state pass rusher and run-stopper.
Key Free Agents: Jacksonville picked up three free agents in 2010, two of which were defensive players. The Jags added DE Aaron Kampman from the Green Bay Packers to help work out their defensive attitude struggles. In his nine eld in the NFL, Kampman has wreaked mayhem on the arena with 458 tackles, 54 sacks, and 12 unscheduled fumbles. This was an fantabulous tone arm by the Jags, as he will definitely play a role in shoring up up that poriferous defensive line.
The other defensive player Jacksonville came to terms with is LB Freddy Keiaho the Indianapolis Colts. Keiaho has only been in the league for five eld, and hasn 39;t done much in those five years. Since being drafted from San Diego State in 2005, Keiaho only has 245 tackles, 1.5 sacks, two unexpected fumbles, and one interception. Even though his numbers pool are dissatisfactory, Keiaho shows alot of potential and will become a solidness defensive player in the near futurity.
